The Head of Performance Marketing will own the strategy and execution of paid acquisition and lifecycle marketing, driving membership growth through effective marketing campaigns and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Scale performance marketing campaigns across Meta, Google Search, programmatic channels, and emerging media to acquire high-value members
- Manage marketing budgets and forecast performance, continuously optimizing to improve customer acquisition costs and customer lifetime value
- Partner with creative teams to construct high-velocity testing pipelines for ad assets, pairing specific demographics with resonant messaging
- Build robust tracking and attribution frameworks in partnership with data science, monitoring incrementality and utilizing marketing mix modeling
- Collaborate with product and engineering to continuously improve landers, trial flows, and the digital onboarding experience to increase conversion rates
- Design and execute behavioral email, SMS, and in-app communications to nurture prospective leads and optimize member retention
Skills
- 6+ years of performance marketing experience, with a proven history of scaling direct to consumer subscription models from early product-market fit to significant scale
- Deep expertise running paid social, paid search, and emerging media campaigns with substantial budgets and strict efficiency targets
- Highly analytical decision maker who relies on data and statistical testing frameworks to navigate post-cookie attribution and multi-touch measurement challenges
- Experience working within the healthcare, preventative medicine, or wellness industries, with knowledge of building deep consumer trust with science-backed value propositions
- Understanding of growth marketing technology stacks, including data pipelines, web tagging, customer data platforms, and lifecycle automation tools
- Ability to balance a high-velocity testing methodology with a deep commitment to maintaining scientific credibility and clean brand positioning
- Ability to communicate performance insights clearly to cross-functional partners and present actionable strategic growth roadmaps to executive leadership
