The role involves front-end development, UI/UX design, AI feature integration, and ensuring high standards for performance and accessibility.
Responsibilities
- Design and build fast, beautiful, and user-friendly web experiences for clients across hospitality, freight, food and beverage, and manufacturing sectors
- Own both the design and build of web interfaces, from concept through coded prototype and production delivery
- Create working coded prototypes in the real technology stack to support faster client sign-off and smoother production development
- Use Figma when required to explore visual directions, document design systems, or align design decisions
- Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performing web pages and interfaces
- Build polished front-end experiences using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and modern CSS
- Create and maintain scalable design systems, reusable components, and consistent UI patterns
- Adapt web experiences to different client brands, visual identities, and design languages
- Bring interfaces to life using thoughtful motion, micro-interactions, transitions, and animated moments
- Use tools such as Framer Motion, GSAP, Lottie, CSS animation, or similar technologies where appropriate
- Maintain strong standards for accessibility, responsiveness, usability, and Core Web Vitals
- Ensure web experiences are visually refined, technically clean, and aligned with client expectations
- Integrate AI features and services into front-end experiences through clean APIs
- Own the user experience around AI-enabled features while collaborating with engineering teams on backend functionality
- Connect front-end surfaces to third-party services, AI tools, internal systems, and client workflows
- Ensure integrations are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with product and client requirements
- Work closely with technical teams to troubleshoot integration issues and improve user experience
- Instrument each website build end to end through event modelling, tag management, and tracking setup
- Connect websites to analytics platforms such as GA4, PostHog, Mixpanel, Segment, or similar tools
- Set up visitor-behaviour, engagement, conversion, and campaign-performance tracking
- Build tracking structures that remain reliable through future redesigns and updates
- Develop multi-touch lead-source attribution using disciplined UTM practices
- Ensure clients can understand which channel, campaign, and message generated each enquiry
- Capture website intent signals and pass them cleanly into CRM and sales pipeline systems
- Prepare analytics views, dashboards, and reports that help clients act on user behaviour and conversion data
- Own technical SEO foundations, including crawlability, site structure, structured data, and schema.org markup
- Improve website discoverability, search visibility, and content clarity
- Drive Generative Engine Optimization and Answer Engine Optimization to improve brand visibility in AI-generated answers
- Structure website content, keywords, entities, and metadata so client brands are retrievable and citable by AI and answer engines
- Support visibility across platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude, and similar AI-search environments
- Create machine-readable brand structures, entity definitions, clean canonical content, and llms.txt where required
- Improve knowledge-graph presence and structured-data coverage
- Monitor how client brands appear in AI search answers and recommend improvements to close visibility gaps
- Own and maintain the front-end codebase, repositories, CMS, content, and site performance
- Keep all work version-controlled, current, clean, and easy for the team to extend
- Manage website updates, CMS content, landing pages, and performance improvements
- Maintain clean, scalable, and reusable code across multiple client projects
- Support updates and maintenance of internal and client websites
- Prepare technical documentation, handover notes, and component guidelines when required
- Work directly with founders, clients, and internal teams in a high-trust and fast-moving environment
- Ensure all delivered web experiences reflect strong design taste, technical quality, evidence-based decisions, and fast execution
Skills
- Strong front-end engineering experience using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and modern CSS
- Strong UI/UX design sensibility with the ability to design in code
- Ability to take a blank page from concept to polished, intentional, production-ready interface
- Figma fluency will be an advantage
- Strong understanding of design systems, component architecture, responsive design, and accessibility
- Experience building fast, optimized, and responsive web experiences
- Good understanding of Core Web Vitals, site performance, accessibility, and browser compatibility
- Experience with web motion tools such as Framer Motion, GSAP, Lottie, or CSS animation
- Experience with richer motion-graphic tools such as After Effects will be an advantage
- Ability to work across multiple client brands and design languages
- Hands-on experience with analytics and tagging tools such as GA4, PostHog, Mixpanel, Segment, or similar platforms
- Working knowledge of event tracking, tag setup, UTM practices, lead-source attribution, and CRM handoffs
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, structured data, schema markup, crawlability, canonical content, and website architecture
- Strong interest or experience in Generative Engine Optimization and Answer Engine Optimization
- Ability to structure content and entities for AI-search visibility and citation
- Confident integrating third-party services and AI features into front-end experiences through APIs
- Comfortable owning a codebase using version control and clean development practices
- Experience working with CMS platforms, preferably headless CMS, will be an advantage
- Client-facing maturity with the ability to understand briefs and deliver practical solutions
- Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to ship high-quality work quickly
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with founders, engineers, and clients
- Experience with headless CMS platforms
- Previous experience in a multi-client, agency, consulting, or delivery-focused environment

- Experience improving website search visibility, analytics quality, conversion tracking, and CRM integration
