Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Outpatient App is a Health Workflow Automation platform for Health Systems and Military Health Systems. They are seeking a Front End Engineer to join their initial developer team to build a cutting-edge system, focusing on user experience and efficient technical architecture.
Responsibilities
- Build web product (progressive web app), native mobile apps & work with team to design and develop all features
- Develop fast feature iterations, bug fixes and experiments
- Work across the stack collaborating with team
- Explore technical feasibility and consult on solutions
- Deliver clean, well-documented code that our users can rely on
Skills
- Demonstrated experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript
- Demonstrated experience with React/React Native or similar frameworks; node.js or Next js is an awesome bonus
- Excellent troubleshooter and problem solver
- Possess ability to adequately size projects and provide status updates
- Understanding of code documentation best practices and style
- Strong communication skills with developers and non-technical staff
- Must learn and work well independently, and also within a collaborative team environment
- Generalist engineering experience in order to get things done fast
- Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms and programming languages
- A deep understanding of best practices for networking, concurrency and threading
- Candidate must have US citizenship and be US-based
- Experience with native code (Android and/or iOS) is not required but nice to have
- Experience with databases (Postgres, Mongo, NoSQL) is a plus
