David Joseph & Company is hiring a Founding Enterprise Account Executive to drive sales for a technical R&D platform in the materials and chemical manufacturing sector. The role requires expertise in enterprise sales and collaboration with high-level executives to manage complex sales processes.
Responsibilities
- Run the full sales cycle for large enterprise deals in the materials and chemical manufacturing space
- Selling a complex, technical R&D platform to C-level executives and scientific leaders
- Collaborating with founders and solutions engineers on high-profile meetings
- Applying formal sales methodologies to navigate complex sales processes
Skills
- 4+ years in a founding or founding-GTM role at an early-stage company; explicit founding AE or founding sales function experience (not general sales leadership)
- 5+ years enterprise sales, 8-10 years total in sales
- Software/SaaS sales experience with formal sales training (MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, etc.)
- Experience in complex, technical sales; background at reputable software companies (e.g., Datadog, Snowflake) preferred
- Scientific background (chemistry, materials science) a strong differentiator
