Responsibilities
- Assists clients with understanding and selecting financial products such as insurance, investments, and other financial services that meet their needs and goals
- Conducting client consultations
- Explaining product features and benefits
- Preparing and reviewing financial service applications
- Maintaining accurate client records
- Collaborates with team members and licensed independent representatives to support client acquisition and retention
- Provide ongoing customer service
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
- Involves ongoing learning about Primerica’s products, market trends, and best practices to deliver informed guidance to clients
Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of finance and financial services, with the ability to explain basic financial concepts to clients
- Understanding of investments and related products, including mutual funds and annuities, and ability to discuss risk and return appropriately
- Experience with insurance products, particularly life insurance, and capability to guide clients through coverage options and applications
- Strong customer service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a client-focused approach
- Relevant certifications or licenses in financial services or insurance (or willingness to obtain them as required by state and company regulations)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple client interactions and documentation accurately
- Ethical judgment, integrity, and commitment to regulatory compliance and company standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary education in finance, business, or a related field is beneficial
