Platform Accounting Group is a professional services firm providing tax, accounting, assurance, IT consulting, and wealth management services. They are seeking an ERP Technical Consultant to support their expanding customer base by analyzing business processes, defining requirements, and implementing ERP solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and provide solutions using Sage ERP systems
- Interview customers to document their requirements
- Install, configure, and test the ERP system
- Perform data migrations
- Customize and configure the systems to integrate with multiple systems
- Provide professional user training and support
- Work effectively under time constraints, deadlines, and workloads with changing and multiple priorities
Skills
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Statistics or another computer-related field is required
- 5+ years of experience with ERP and/or CRM software
- Superior interpersonal skills including communication, active listening, and customer service
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Prior consulting experience with client-facing responsibilities
- Ability to travel to client sites
- High business acumen, analytical skills and understanding of sales pipeline is a must
- Excellent presentation and listening skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts
- Strong relationship-building skills and overall comprehension (or willingness to learn) of sales cycles
- Knowledge of Financial Applications or complementary solutions is preferred
- Sage 100 ERP, Sage X3, or Acumatica is a plus
