Insight Global is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead waste management, remediation, and environmental compliance projects across customer and company locations nationwide. This role requires a hands-on professional who can oversee projects from waste characterization through transportation, treatment, and final disposal.
Responsibilities
- Manage environmental and waste-related projects from initiation through completion
- Oversee waste characterization, profiling, transportation, and disposal activities
- Coordinate with customers, disposal facilities, vendors, and field personnel
- Ensure compliance with RCRA, EPA, and other environmental regulations
- Provide on-site project oversight for remediation, cleanup, and waste management projects
- Maintain project documentation, manifests, and regulatory paperwork
- Develop practical and cost-effective solutions for customers' environmental challenges
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 3–5+ years of experience in environmental project management, remediation, or waste management
- Working knowledge of RCRA and hazardous waste regulations
- Working knowledge of waste characterization and profiling
- Working knowledge of transportation and disposal operations
- Working knowledge of environmental compliance and remediation projects
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- EPA Superfund, Department of Energy, state-funded, or industrial remediation projects
- Hazardous and non-hazardous waste management
- Environmental consulting or engineering background
