[Remote] Engineering Project Manager

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead complex civil engineering projects supporting electric transmission, renewable energy, and energy infrastructure initiatives throughout New York and the Northeast. The role involves managing project scope, schedule, budget, and client expectations while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and overseeing civil engineering design efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from planning through construction
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and client expectations
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders
• Lead civil engineering design efforts for:
• Electric transmission projects
• Renewable energy projects
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Utility and energy infrastructure projects
• Develop and review:
• Stormwater Management Plans (SWMPs)
• Erosion & Sediment Control Plans (E&SCPs)
• Grading and drainage plans
• Civil site development plans
• Support construction oversight and compliance activities
• Manage permitting efforts with federal, state, and local agencies
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in New York and/or a New England state
• 10–15 years of engineering experience
• Experience managing multiple projects and client relationships
• Proficiency with: AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Bluebeam
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience with: Electric transmission projects
• Utility site development projects
• New York or New England energy markets
• State Siting Boards and utility permitting
• Solar energy projects
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Construction oversight and compliance programs
• Environmental due diligence and remediation
• Electrical infrastructure development
• Proficiency with: MicroStation
• ProjectWise
