Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Supernova is revolutionizing the manufacturing of energetic material components with innovative 3D printing solutions. The Director of Federal Business Development & Capture will drive growth in the energetics division by managing USG RDTE opportunities and ensuring compliance while developing key relationships.
Responsibilities
- Own USG RDTE pipeline: screening, qualifying, prioritizing opportunities
- Lead capture end-to-end: turning opportunities into contracts, mapping requirements, competitive intel, proposal orchestration, proposal writing and filing
- Developing relationships with USG groups and partners
- Create commercial materials about products and business proposals to private companies
- Communication and reporting for active programs
- Lead compliance practice and implementation
Skills
- US citizen
- Strong technical background (engineering or chemistry)
- 5+ years' experience owning USG RDTE business development and capture responsibilities
- Knowledge of energetic materials and applications, as well as the processing techniques to manufacture the final energetic components
- Ability to communicate credibly with technical customers to present our solutions, processing their requirements into clear proposal scopes and milestones
- Strong writing and program management discipline
- Deep working knowledge of compliance in defense environments and ability to drive implementation with stakeholders
- Comfortable in early-stage environment: extreme ownership, hands-on execution, high workload, fast-changing context
- Knowledge in defense compliance framework (ITAR, CUI, CMMC, FCL, etc…)
