Responsibilities
- Provides technical and operational support within the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences contributing to clinical research activities
- Supports day‑to‑day clinical research operations, including participant coordination, data collection, data entry, regulatory documentation, specimen handling, and maintenance of study‑related databases
- Requires strong attention to detail, adherence to clinical research protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy, quality, and compliance with institutional, regulatory, and human‑subjects protection standards
- Coordinating study visits
- Assisting with participant recruitment and screening
- Supporting clinical trial procedures
- Managing study documentation
- Contributing to the organization and tracking of clinical research materials and records
Skills
- High School graduate required
- 0 years of relevant experience required
- Requires successful completion of a background check
- Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
