Altius Search Group is recruiting for a client seeking a Capital Markets / Syndication Associate to join a growing equipment finance platform. This role is focused on placing debt with existing funding sources and supporting the sale of equipment finance transactions to financial institutions.
Responsibilities
- Place equipment finance transactions with existing funding partners
- Develop and manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other capital providers
- Coordinate with internal leadership on transaction flow and placement execution
- Help identify the best funding sources based on transaction quality and market appetite
- Support the expansion of the company’s capital partner network as volume grows
- Track funding trends and market demand within equipment finance
- Assist in building a broader capital markets and syndication function over time
Skills
- 2+ years of experience in capital markets, syndication, banking, equipment finance, structured finance, or a related field
- Buy-side or sell-side capital markets experience is acceptable
- Understanding of debt placement and institutional funding relationships
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Comfortable working in a growing, entrepreneurial environment
- Equipment finance experience is a plus
- Background with a bank, financial institution, or similar platform
- Early-career to mid-level professional looking for growth potential
- Interested in joining a company where they can stand out and help build the function
- Motivated by the opportunity to grow into a Capital Markets Manager or Director-level role over time
