Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The RealReal is the world’s largest online marketplace for authenticated, resale luxury goods, and they are seeking self-motivated individuals to join their Sales team as Business Development Representatives. The role involves qualifying leads and nurturing relationships to convert them into new consignors in a fully-remote sales environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for prospective clients (leads) interested in consigning at The RealReal
- Qualify marketing generated leads though daily outreach, while fielding inbound inquiries
- Pass qualified leads to appropriate sales channel to close into new consignment business
- Nurture leads through ongoing follow-up via phone/text/email
- Utilize internal tools and resources to educate leads on consignment process, brands accepted, pricing expectations and next steps

- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortability using software such as G-Suite, Email, SalesForce, CRM

- Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week)
- Must be able to work one weekend day - shifts offered are: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
- Familiarity with the luxury fashion marketplace
- Lead qualification experience
