Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Build in Motion is in search of a Business Development Manager to expand their business and onboard new clients. The role involves selling custom software solutions and engaging with clients to meet their product development needs.
Responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects, applying appropriate messaging and securing meetings
- Deliver dynamic presentations to prospects, determine their needs, and apply experience in dealing with complex business challenges to help find solutions for their product development needs in order to secure deals
- Being an advocate for our clients by supporting their ongoing needs, working side by side with engineering leaders to continue to help our clients deliver great products
- Represent the company at relevant industry events, expanding your network
- Maintain an understanding in key target industries, identifying industry pain points and product development opportunities
Skills
- 8+ years as a B2B Business Development leader working specifically in the software development services industry
- A deep network of executive and engineering leadership contacts
- An ability to have meaningful conversations with prospective clients about their specific challenges
- Business acumen and the ability to understand wider issues of the industry
- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills with a confident and aggressive approach
- Results oriented, effective, driven
- Availability to travel to client sites when necessary
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
