- Monitor book industry news, literary trends, bestseller lists, social media conversations, and adaptation announcements to identify timely content opportunities
- Write engaging features, mini-features, lists, rankings, recommendations, and opinion pieces related to books and literary culture
- Cover topics ranging from bestselling novels and emerging authors to book-to-screen adaptations, publishing trends, and reader communities
- Work closely with editors to develop compelling content ideas and execute editorial priorities
- Comfortable working independently while consistently meeting deadlines
- Ensure timely publication of relevant content aligned with SEO and audience engagement goals
- Follow editorial and formatting guidelines rigorously
Skills
- At least 2 years experience in digital journalism or online publishing
- Ability to independently write and publish clean, accurate content on tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of gaming culture, internet trends, memes, and online communities
