The AVP, Insurance Sales Manager will lead and scale a high-performing insurance sales team, overseeing the inside sales process and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Leading and scaling a high-performing insurance sales team to drive profitable growth within a call center environment
- Overseeing all aspects of the inside sales process, including planning, execution and performance optimization
- Recruiting, developing and retaining top-tier sales talent while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and result-oriented performance
- Executing sales strategies
- Monitoring performance metrics and ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Overseeing compliance adherence
- Optimizing sales processes
- Identifying and driving ongoing improvements to exceed production targets
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or a related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/ GED)
- 5+ years' experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance products and sales strategies
- 3+ years' experience managing people and leading call center sales teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficient in using CCaaS platforms to enhance customer engagement
- Experience using Salesforce, Five9, carrier portals and similar industry-standard tools
- Strong skills and experience in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization
