Arkansas Talent Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and Payroll for a construction company in Springdale, AR. Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, code expenses, prepare ACH/check payments, reconcile AP subledger, manage vendor inquiries
- Accounts Receivable: Enter customer orders, track incoming payments, reconcile A/R accounts, generate billing reports, assist with collections
- Payroll: Process weekly payroll for 20–50 construction employees, calculate wages/garnishments/child support, prepare payroll reports, maintain payroll records
- General Accounting: Bank reconciliations, month-end/year-end close support, accruals, financial reporting, QuickBooks maintenance
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in AP, A/R, and full-cycle payroll
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently
- Experience with construction accounting and weekly payroll processing
