Stride, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Operations Analyst to manage contracting needs and collaborate with various internal stakeholders. The role involves handling budgetary matters, managing purchase orders, and providing analytical support within the finance department.
Responsibilities
- Manages contracting needs for various shared service departments in the organization
- Serve as the primary point of contact for diverse set of contracts
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders, including Procurement, Finance and Legal to facilitate contract approvals and signatures
- Briefs management on budgetary matters
- Lead daily and monthly administrative tasks such as Purchase Order (PO) and vendor invoice management
- Calculate month-end accruals and prepare journal entries
- Assist in analysis of month-end performance to budget
- Provide data management and analytical support between Shared Service and Finance departments
Skills
- Three (3) years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in project/program management, quantitative analysis and/or financial analysis
- Advanced Excel and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system experience; namely NetSuite
- Ability to manage confidential information with high level of integrity and discretion
- Inquisitive, analytical and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to clear the required background check
- Bachelor's degree required
- CPA preferred
