The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver valuable insights and recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Own and independently manage a sizable portfolio of banking and credit union client relationships as the primary point of contact
- Build strong client partnerships through proactive communication, timely delivery of relevant research and clear, value-added insights that address key business needs and priorities
- Collaborate with the research team and consultants to translate research insights and data into clear recommendations that support client decision-making
- Grow account revenue through upsell and expansion opportunities within your book of business
- Own the renewal process, including timing, positioning, and proposal through regular client communication
- Build strategic relationships with key client stakeholders across your client book to strengthen long-term partnerships and retention
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in account management, client success or consultative sales roles
- Proven ability to own and grow a book of business, with revenue accountability
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including experience working directly with senior-level clients
- Ability to translate research, data or insights into clear business recommendations, in collaboration with colleagues
- Commercial mindset with comfort leading renewal and expansion conversations
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple client relationships independently
- Proficiency with MS Office and comfortable working through modern database and communication systems
