Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gateway Car Connection is rapidly growing in the vehicle wholesale market by utilizing proprietary software to identify opportunities. They are seeking an Account Executive (Vehicle Buyer) who will be responsible for closing deals over the phone, managing a sales pipeline, and ensuring thorough follow-up on opportunities.
Responsibilities
- High work ethic (Monday-Saturday work schedule)

- Close by phone. Every deal is worked as a voice call — no closing over text, no shortcuts. The call is how we verify the vehicle and protect the deal. It's the job, and it's not optional
- Work two fronts at once. Fresh opportunities come in live throughout the day, and you carry an active pipeline of deals in motion. Speed on the new ones, thoroughness on all of them — both are non-negotiable
- Own your pipeline. Fast follow-up, clean records, nothing slips. A deal stays yours until you buy the car or it's confirmed gone
- Verify, negotiate, lock it in. Confirm the vehicle, negotiate to our number, and get the commitment. Then hand off clean to the transaction team — a warm pass, not a drop
- Your success is directly tied to the business's success. The margin lives in the deals you close
- ~25% Close rate. Team avg. 30%. That's the standard, not the ceiling. The number's always on the table, so you'll always know exactly where you stand
- Consistency, week in and week out. Our top closers work 50–60 opportunities a day. Volume rewards the disciplined
