Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Program Therapist - Inpatient to join our therapeutic team. As a key member of our Inpatient Department, you will provide social services functions to assist patients in meeting their bio-psychosocial needs and achieving optimal emotional health through therapeutic treatment. This is a full-time position, working five days a week, with a requirement of one weekend per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic consultation, teaching, and specialized social work services to patients and families receiving care
- Conduct crisis intervention, short-term therapy, and provide information and referrals as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assess patients' clinical needs and develop effective treatment strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications:
Education:
A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinical-related mental health field is required.
Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills, is preferred. Strong clinical assessment skills are essential.
License:
A state license in the discipline (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) is required.
Additional Requirements:
One weekend per month is required.
