About the Role: People Operations Assistant
We're on the hunt for a talented and detail-oriented People Operations Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. As a key member of our People Operations team, you'll play a vital role in providing administrative support, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our global workforce. This is an exceptional opportunity to learn the ins and outs of HR processes, grow with our company, and develop your skills in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Assist employees with accessing our WeWork locations, travel expense reimbursement, and home office supply expenses
- Organize and maintain electronic records related to our virtual offices, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and send new hire kits, gifts, and donations as needed, making a positive impact on our employees' onboarding experience
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation to support the People Operations team
People Operations Support
- Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
- Support onboarding processes by preparing new hire documentation and assisting in orientation sessions
- Assist in employee engagement activities, including event planning and coordination, to foster a positive and inclusive company culture
- Handle sensitive information confidentially and in line with company policies, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and discretion
Qualifications & Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a remote office environment
- Previous administrative or office experience (a plus, but not required)
- Exposure to HR functions (a plus, but not required)
Essential skills and competencies include:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workloads effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A high level of professionalism and discretion, especially when handling sensitive information
- Eagerness to learn and grow within Human Resources or a related field
