As a Part-Time Remote Inbound Contact Center Agent, you will play a critical role in connecting with customers, addressing their inquiries, and providing assistance with hunting and fishing licenses, permits, camping reservations, and park passes.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls (98%) with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist customers with license/permit purchases, camping reservations, and park passes, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
- Answer inquiries on rules and regulations, navigating wildlife agency websites, and provide application/website support and basic troubleshooting as needed.
- Process license/permit sales and assist with fulfillment, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Provide hero support for Point-of-Sale agents' hardware and application issues, demonstrating technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
- Embrace exciting duties assigned by a supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
- Strong customer service, active listening, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and resolve their inquiries.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts from home, including at least one weekend day per week, between the hours of 8 am - 5 pm EST.
- Solid computer and internet skills, with a demonstrated internet speed of 10 Mbps or higher.
- A private and quiet workspace for uninterrupted calls, ensuring a professional and distraction-free environment.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in a contact center environment.
- Familiarity with outdoor recreation and conservation, demonstrating a passion for the industry.
- Technical skills, such as proficiency in software applications and hardware troubleshooting.
