About the Role
Medcare Telehealth is hiring part-time Nurse Practitioners to conduct Medicare Annual Wellness Visits (AWVs) via telehealth for patients located in Florida. This is a 100% remote role focused exclusively on preventive care — no problem-based visits, no prescribing pressure, no call.
You control your schedule. Our model works like rideshare for clinicians: you set your own availability each week and log in when you're ready to see patients. Pick up as many or as few visits as fit your life — mornings, evenings, weekends, or in between other commitments.
Responsibilities
• Conduct Medicare AWVs via telehealth (video and audio-only)
• Complete health risk assessments, medication reconciliation, and screening reviews
• Develop personalized prevention plans
• Document thoroughly and accurately in our EHR
• Identify care gaps (follow-ups coordinated by our operations team)
Requirements
• Active, unrestricted Florida NP (APRN) license
• Enrolled in Medicare (or willing to complete enrollment before start)
• Eligible to participate in federal healthcare programs (not excluded from Medicare/Medicaid)
• Comfortable using EHR systems and telehealth platforms
• Strong documentation skills
• Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with reliable internet
Preferred
• Bilingual: English and Spanish strongly preferred
• Medicare or AWV experience
• Telehealth experience
• Multi-state licensure
