Salary/Position Classification $7,500 contract, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) 5-12 hours per week 100% Remote Work Availability: Yes Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): Yes Purpose of Position The purpose of this position is to provide effective teaching in the area of Oil & Gas Law at the University of North Dakota School of Law. Duties & Responsibilities Effective teaching in the area of Oil & Gas Law. Required Competencies Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff colleagues Eagerness to work closely with law students Ability to teach in the curricular area of interest Ability to work and collaborate in a diverse, multicultural, and inclusive setting Minimum Requirements J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school Licensed member in good standing of the bar in any U.S. or Canadian jurisdiction 5 years of relevant legal work experience in Oil & Gas Law Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
