I'm looking for a reliable, proactive Virtual Assistant to support me with business operations, job searching, research, project management and administrative tasks.
This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys creating systems, staying organised, and using AI tools to work efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Search for relevant jobs daily (government, cybersecurity, governance, content design and technical writing).
- Maintain my job application tracker and pipeline.
- Manage Trello boards, task lists and project workflows.
- Update my financial dashboard with income, expenses and savings progress.
- Maintain spreadsheets, trackers and dashboards.
- Conduct internet research and summarise findings.
- Draft emails, LinkedIn messages and documents for review.
- Organise files and documentation.
- Help improve systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve productivity and automate repetitive work.
- Provide a brief daily or end-of-week progress update.
Requirements
- Excellent written English.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly organised and proactive.
- Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.
- Comfortable using Trello or similar project management tools.
- Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or similar).
- Able to work independently and communicate clearly.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting executives or consultants.
- Experience with Australian businesses or government.
- Dashboard creation and reporting.
- Process improvement mindset.
Trial
The role will begin with a paid trial (approximately 5–10 hours). If we're a good fit, this will become an ongoing engagement of approximately 5–10 hours per week, with flexibility depending on workload.
