Key Responsibilities:
- Draft comprehensive personal injury medical chronologies that accurately reflect treatment dates, medical details, and relevant information.
- Organize and structure documents to create well-structured and organized exhibits that support personal injury claims.
- Analyze medical records in a legal context, gaining a comprehensive understanding of an injured victim's past and current medical treatment.
- Conduct quality assurance of summaries, ensuring accuracy, precision, and inclusion of all relevant medical details.
- Research and replace medical abbreviations with their unabbreviated counterparts in medical chronologies.
- Review and quality assure personal injury medical chronologies to ensure high-quality output.
Requirements:
- Expertise in medical and legal documentation, with strong skills in analyzing medical records, bills, and related documents.
- 2+ years of experience in personal injury, nursing, counseling, or a related medical/legal field, with significant experience in preparing medical chronologies.
- Comprehensive understanding of personal injury law and how medical information is utilized in various states.
- Attention to detail, with excellent writing, spelling, and grammar skills.
- Efficiency, time management, and ability to work independently, with a growth mindset and openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration and teamwork experience, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and contribute to a positive remote work culture.
