Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Job Description This fully remote Logistics Coordinator role supports a fast-paced Operations team by managing the end-to-end order process from purchase order intake through shipment. You will coordinate freight, transfers of finished goods, and carrier performance while ensuring accurate documentation and clear communication with internal teams and an external vendor. The position is ideal for a highly organized logistics professional who can quickly step in, handle urgent requests, and help bring structure, consistency, and reliability to day-to-day logistics operations using NetSuite and related tools. Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end order flow from purchase order intake through shipment, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. Coordinate customer freight-out from warehouses and co-packers to customer locations via freight service providers, including daily load monitoring, reporting, and issue resolution. Manage transfers of finished goods between production sites, warehouses, and co-packers to support product availability and inventory balance. Process freight, transfer, and related transactions in NetSuite ERP, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date. Track shipments in NetSuite and other systems, maintaining accurate documentation and clear visibility into order status. Audit freight provider invoices for accuracy and pursue billbacks or credits when discrepancies arise. Manage carrier performance by monitoring KPIs and reporting to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries. Support inter-facility movement of raw material shipments, including dry, refrigerated, and frozen materials. Assist with inventory reconciliation and required shipment documentation, such as Bills of Lading, resolving discrepancies with internal and external partners. Build effective working relationships with warehouses, freight providers, co-manufacturers, and other logistics partners. Partner with Customer Service and Supply Chain teams on day-to-day logistics needs and issue resolution. Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment across all channels. Communicate effectively with internal teams and an external vendor to align on order status, set clear expectations, and proactively manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Support documentation and tracking processes to ensure operational visibility and audit readiness. Help streamline workflows, improve consistency, and enhance overall operational organization for the team. Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Analyze logistics and transportation data using tools such as TMS platforms and business intelligence tools to generate reports and dashboards that support decision-making. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience in logistics management, with exposure to warehouse, inventory, or supply chain operations. At least 1+ year of experience in outbound freight and logistics coordination. Working knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), appointment scheduling platforms, accessorial fees, load planning, and 3PL warehouse operations. Strong understanding of the order lifecycle from purchase order to shipment, including order flow and tracking. Experience using NetSuite (required) for order tracking, transaction processing, and documentation. Proficiency with NetSuite and TMS platforms for managing logistics data and workflows. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including the ability to work with spreadsheets, documents, and presentations. Experience using Power BI or Tableau, with comfort analyzing data and generating reports or dashboards. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners. High level of organization with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle urgent requests while maintaining accuracy. Ability to interpret logistics data, carrier performance metrics, and invoice details to identify issues and drive resolution. Additional Skills & Qualifications Food and Beverage industry experience is a plus, particularly in environments involving finished goods and raw material movements. Experience with inventory control, shipping, and third-party logistics operations. Experience in customer service related to logistics, transportation, or freight coordination. Familiarity with dispatch operations and coordination of multiple carriers and service providers. Experience supporting logistics processes during periods of organizational growth or transition. Comfort building and maintaining relationships with warehouses, co-packers, and freight providers. Ability to contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance workflow efficiency and consistency. Work Environment This role operates in a fully remote work environment, supporting a fast-paced logistics and operations function. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners primarily through digital tools, including NetSuite, Transportation Management Systems, business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Tableau, and Microsoft Office. The position focuses on coordinating freight, transfers, and carrier performance in a virtual setting, requiring consistent online availability, clear written and verbal communication, and disciplined self-management. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
