About the Role Our client, a dynamic and expanding retail company with a strong presence in Denver, Colorado , is seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst to join their supply chain team. This role is essential for driving efficiency and cost savings through the analysis of logistics data and the development of optimized supply chain strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, a solid understanding of logistics principles, and proficiency in data modeling and reporting tools. Key Responsibilities Analyze logistics data, including transportation costs, delivery times, and inventory levels, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key logistics performance indicators (KPIs). Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, sales, operations) and external partners (carriers, 3PLs) to optimize supply chain processes. Model various logistics scenarios to evaluate cost-effectiveness and service level impacts. Support the development and implementation of new logistics strategies and initiatives. Assist in carrier selection, contract negotiation, and performance management. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs within the supply chain. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all logistics analysis and reporting activities. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in logistics and supply chain management. Provide analytical support for ad-hoc logistics projects and inquiries. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain analyst role. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a significant plus. Familiarity with logistics operations, including transportation modes, warehousing, and inventory management. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings clearly. Experience with supply chain software (e.g., WMS, TMS) is desirable. Understanding of the Denver, Colorado logistics network is an advantage. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, contributing both independently and as part of a team.
