We’re looking for a retention-focused marketer to own our email & SMS performance. You’ll be responsible for the strategy, optimisation, and execution of campaigns and flows.
Creative (design) is handled externally, your job is to turn that into a world-class retention system.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Retention Strategy (Own This Completely)
- Identify retention gaps across the customer journey
- Prioritise flow opportunities to increase LTV and repeat purchase rate
- Propose monthly experiments and A/B tests
2. Flows (High Priority)
- Build and optimise flows: Welcome, Browse Abandon, Cart Abandon, Post-Purchase, VIP, Winback, Cross-sell, Sunset, etc.
- Improve segmentation, filters, timing, and branching logic
- Monitor flow performance and set up ongoing tests
- Upload new content into the flows
3. Campaigns
- Schedule and launch email/SMS campaigns
- Ensure segmentation, UTMs, filters, and deliverability best practices
- Copy QA for clarity, tone, and accuracy
- Full QA before send
4. Reporting & Analysis
- Monthly reporting on campaign & flow revenue
- Identify trends, drops, anomalies
- Recommend action items and hypotheses
- Review unsubscribes, deliverability, and list health
5. List Hygiene & Deliverability
- Maintain engaged segments
- Manage suppressions
- Protect sending reputation
Requirements:
- Proven retention/lifecycle background
- Deep experience with Klaviyo flows & segmentation
- Strong analytical ability — comfortable owning KPIs
- Can think strategically and operate independently
- Familiar with ecommerce retention metrics (MER, LTV, repeat rate, AOV, etc.)
Nice-to-Have:
- SMS expertise
- Experience with creative direction
- Experience with fashion or consumer brands
