Position Summary:
We are looking for an instructor who is passionate about early childhood education and has a strong commitment to teaching and learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in early childhood education, developing curriculum, and participating in departmental activities. If you have a background in clinical practice and/or teaching experience in early childhood settings, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Teach core undergraduate and graduate early childhood education courses
- Develop and implement curriculum for early childhood education programs
- Participate in departmental activities, including faculty meetings and committee work
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote the mission and goals of the Department, College, and University
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Experience teaching in early childhood settings, including Universal Pre-Kindergarten, Head Start/Early Head Start, and early childhood special education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in clinical practice and/or teaching experience in early childhood settings
- Demonstrated commitment to research partnerships and community engagement
- Experience with instructional technology and online course delivery
