Key Responsibilities
- Case management: Oversee and coordinate the educational plans for students with special needs.
- Report writing: Prepare and submit reports to parents, administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Consultations: Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective educational strategies.
- Develop IEPs (Individualized Education Programs): Create personalized plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments: Use various tools and techniques to assess student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate IEP processes: Coordinate and lead IEP meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
- Provide 1:1 and group services: Deliver specialized instruction and support to students in a virtual setting.
- Develop and implement lesson plans: Create engaging and tailored lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- ID Special Education Teaching Certificate with Grades 1-5 Endorsement.
- Strong teletherapy experience: At least 2 years of experience delivering virtual instruction and support to students.
- Previous school experience is preferred but not required.
