Company Description BOGAN Foundation supports children who think, learn, and process the world differently, including youth with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and other learning differences. Through literacy support, school advocacy, STEM experiences, and family guidance, the foundation helps young people build confidence, skills, and real opportunities for the future. BOGAN works closely with families to navigate IEPs, 504 plans, school meetings, and community resources in a clearer, less overwhelming way. Rooted in the belief that learning differently does not mean a child is broken, BOGAN creates safe, encouraging spaces where children feel understood and families feel supported. The foundation partners with schools, community organizations, businesses, faith groups, and local leaders, primarily across Dallas–Fort Worth, to expand opportunities for children and families. Role Description The Head of Fundraising is a volunteer, remote role responsible for designing and leading the foundation’s fundraising strategy to sustain and grow its programs. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and cultivating relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners, as well as coordinating outreach to individual supporters and community groups. This role oversees fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and events (virtual or in collaboration with local partners), ensuring clear messaging aligned with BOGAN’s mission. The Head of Fundraising will track fundraising performance, maintain donor records, and collaborate with the leadership team to align fundraising goals with program needs and organizational priorities. The role also involves mentoring volunteers or team members who assist with fundraising activities and representing the foundation in meetings or presentations with philanthropic partners. Qualifications • Experience working with major donors and philanthropic partners, with the ability to build and sustain long-term relationships. • Strong fundraising skills, including campaign planning, donor stewardship, and familiarity with charities and nonprofit environments. • Excellent communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities. • Understanding of philanthropy trends, donor motivations, and community-based giving models. • Prior experience in nonprofit development, advancement, or related roles is highly beneficial. • Comfort working remotely, using digital tools for collaboration, donor management, and outreach. • Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and supporting children and families with learning differences; familiarity with education or youth-focused organizations is a plus.
