About the role - Inside Sales:
The inside sales team are responsible for engaging with prospects and driving sales in the small and medium business (SMB) segment. They understand the needs and requirements and collaborate with internal teams to help ensure a smooth sales process. This role is based out of Chennai.

Freshworks is looking to hire smart, determined and passionate students who'll be graduating in 2022 for our inside sales team. Here is a short description of traits that we look for in from students fresh out of college:
- Clear, concise, and effective written and oral communication skills.
- Empathy towards customers and understanding their needs.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced performance-driven environment.
- Interest, curiosity and openness to learning new technologies.
- Flexibility in working in different rotational shifts/regions/markets. This is absolutely mandatory because shifts and regions will be allocated based on business requirements.
- Prior internship experience in B2B or product companies in any domain is an added bonus.
Additional Information
- Given the context of Covid and remote work Freshworks is working partially remotely (as things stand today). While we have office locations in Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad the inside sales team is based primarily out of Chennai and this role will be for the Chennai location only.
- We are also slowly returning back to the office in phases, and will expect those hired to work out of the Chennai office upon joining.
