Job Role
• You will partner with teams across DoorDash to support financial decisions and develop sustainable growth strategies for the U.S. merchants in restaurants and new verticals.
• The right candidate will possess strong financial, analytical, and communication skills to influence data-driven business decisions.
• On any given day, you can expect to:
• Support the deal flow approvals process by reviewing submissions for policy requirements and work with sales, strategy & operations and finance to correct
• Support deal desk teams across all verticals and lines of businesses to create deal financial models
• Support the development of decision support materials by producing analytics spanning merchant comparables, our portfolio's performance, and market intelligence
• Maintain and update SQL queries to support deal models and analytics

Requirements:
• 2+ years of strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking experience in a high-growth technology sector
• Ability to work with cross-functional partners at all levels of an organization
• Highly skilled at synthesizing business insights and problem solving
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Build financial models used to seize opportunities and build business cases for pursuing new programs
• Basic SQL proficiency (or willingness to learn). Manipulate large datasets, uncover hidden insights in our data, and improve our understanding of our business through this process
