About the Position
The Supply & Demand Planner will play a critical role in maintaining our multiple e-commerce platforms, ensuring system functionality, compliance, accurate data management, and optimal inventory levels. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Marketing, Operations, and 3PLs, to align supply with anticipated demand, ultimately maximizing profitability and minimizing out-of-stocks. The successful candidate will also support SKU-level planning for our wholesale business, including Food Service and Retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inventory management entries and analysis in Shopify, maintaining accurate inventory and reporting, and reconciling in our ERP system (Sage)
- Prepare demand planning and inventory transfers to our e-commerce 3PL (World Pantry), reconciling inventory and collaborating with WP as needed
- Partner with Marketing and Finance to understand promotional strategy and activity by item and time frame, assisting with demand planning
- Resolve and troubleshoot errors in Shopify customer data and review, monitor, and troubleshoot EDI 940s/945s to/from World Pantry and Sage
- Perform Amazon Vendor Central (VC) demand planning, pulling SKU-level forecasting from VC for each SKU/ASIN to determine short/long-term demand, and providing reporting to Operations
- Maintain inventory levels in Amazon Seller Central (SC), pulling inventory reports from SC, and issuing the appropriate POs/inventory transfers for shipments to FBA/FBM
- Prepare SKU-level forecasts for Retail sales, utilizing historic data, customer inventory reports, syndicated sales data, and promotional activity cycles
- Project Food Service SKU-level demand through direct and indirect customers, managing company SKU forecasts based on annual company targets, and reviewing and updating on a monthly basis
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum two years of administrative experience in Shopify/Amazon, preferably with CPG products
- Strong proficiency in inventory management and data analysis
- Experience in demand planning and ERP systems, and other data analysis tools (EDI experience a plus)
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present data-driven insights to stakeholders
- Ability to identify and address potential demand issues, analyze root causes, and propose solutions
- Knowledge of online retail trends, customer behavior analysis, and digital marketing strategies (a plus)
- A self-starter with the ability to accomplish objectives with minimal supervision, possessing a sense of urgency, an acute attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
- Embracing newly assigned projects with enthusiasm, working well under pressure, and meeting multiple deadlines
- Possessing a strong working knowledge of computer programs, including Excel, Word, CRM, PowerPoint, and other MS Office programs (Advanced-level Excel preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent combination of education and experience

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000, depending on experience and location. Our benefits package includes:
