About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our developing Bookkeeping group. As a Senior GL Bookkeeper, you will work closely with other general ledger accounting staff on day-to-day accounting tasks and report to our Senior Accounting Supervisor. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere and contribute to our team's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
- Be a key owner of the monthly close process for assigned regions and foreign entities
- Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Consolidated financial statements using accepted methodologies
- Assist with providing forecasts to external auditors on annual audits and quarterly reviews
- Communicate with FP&A, operational partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
- Conduct ad-hoc investigations and projects to drive process improvement initiatives

Essential Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, SOX/internal controls
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification a plus
- Strong spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets
- Excellent communication, oral, and written skills, with strong proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and organization skills
