About the Role
As a Software Engineer in our distributed systems team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the complex systems that power our global entertainment platform. You'll work on large-scale backend systems, applying your software development skills to solve complex problems with real-world impact. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the future of our service, ensuring it remains highly available, scalable, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions for our distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and drive features or components throughout the development lifecycle.
- Work independently to drive projects forward, from conception to deployment, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Participate in the development, debugging, testing, and operation of APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-based services.
- Prioritize tasks effectively, focusing on high-impact activities that drive significant results.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms, ensuring seamless collaboration with team members.

Qualifications & Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in computer science and software engineering principles. We're looking for individuals with a passion for crafting efficient, effective, and testable code.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++).
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and version control.
- Experience with distributed systems, cloud-based services, and APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
