Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Working directly with arenaflex members in a fast-paced inbound contact center, providing exceptional support and building sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication
- Applying problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations, ensuring empathetic resolution and keeping records of all interactions and changes
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to compliance and communication standards
- Providing accurate information and support to members, utilizing available resources and navigating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies
- Building trust and creating positive experiences for our members, while promoting arenaflex products and services
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service-related position, with a high value placed on customer/member experience; insurance/call center experience preferred
- Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Technical aptitude with experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies
- Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures, as well as knowledge of various insurance products
- Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework preferred
- High School Diploma required; some college-level coursework preferred
- Must possess internet with a minimum speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload and be able to support a VPN
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
- Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and compliance standards
- Proficiency in multiple software applications and systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
