About the Role
As a Remote Data Entry Customer Care Support Specialist, you'll be the face of Labcorp's customer service, providing top-notch support to patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers. You'll be responsible for:
- Answering 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries.
- Utilizing multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Managing performance goals and striving for excellence in customer service, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Becoming proficient with processes after completing a structured training program, showcasing adaptability and a willingness to learn.
- Demonstrating proficiency in navigating multiple computer screens and applications, with alpha-numeric data entry skills.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous medical and/or call center experience a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in navigating multiple computer screens and applications, with alpha-numeric data entry skills.
- Ability to connect equipment to router/modem with Ethernet cord; equipment cannot be connected through Wi-Fi, mobile routers, or mobile hotspot with ethernet port.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare or a related field.
- Certifications in customer service or a related field.
- Proficiency in multiple software applications and systems.
