About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Remote Data Entry and Document Management Specialist to join our team. As a Data Entry and Document Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients, including Netflix, by ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of documents and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Classifying and preparing documents for scanning, including orienting, repairing, and removing objects like staples and paperclips
- Utilizing bar code or patch separators to separate records for scanning
- Cleaning and calibrating paper scanners, fixing bad images and double feeds, and using all aspects of the scanning software
- Quality processing of items through the scanning process
- Calibrating, loading, and cleaning of microfilm equipment
- Data Capture: finding key data and entering alphanumeric data into the appropriate database in accordance with customer requirements
- Notifying supervisors of potential dangers and demonstrating a high level of safety awareness
- Protecting the company's and its customers' informational assets by adhering to security and privacy policies, standards, and guidelines
Essential Qualifications
- High School Certificate or GED
- Requires six months to a year of general office experience
- Two years of prior experience scanning (preferred)
- Proficient communication skills to collect essential information, answer questions, and direct callers to the appropriate personnel in a professional and courteous manner
- Developed interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, other business areas, and government agencies as necessary
- Planning and organizational skills to coordinate workload around complex, multiple assignments

- Prior experience in data entry, document management, or a related field
- Technical skills, including proficiency in specific software, tools, or programming languages
- Self-discipline and ability to stay focused and manage time effectively without direct supervision
