About the Role
As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing top-notch service and support via inbound and outbound calls. You'll be responsible for advising members on benefits, responding to consumer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to advise members on benefits, respond to consumer inquiries, and resolve issues
- Provide education and status updates on previously submitted documents and requests
- Meet performance goals established for the position in areas such as efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, first call resolution, and attendance
- Own consumer inquiries and issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Demonstrate empathy and good listening skills to build trust with customers
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 1 year of customer service experience with the same company (previous experience in a call center environment is a plus)
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Previous sales or benefits experience (ideal but not required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to clear a background check
- Empathic and good listening skills
We're particularly interested in candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English, as you'll be eligible for a pay rate of $18/hour. If you're a native English speaker or have proficiency in other languages, we still want to hear from you, as our pay rate is $17/hour.
