About the Role: Physical Therapy Assistants and Flexologists
We are seeking motivated and passionate Physical Therapy Assistants, as well as experienced fitness professionals such as personal trainers, massage therapists, and dance/yoga/Pilates instructors, to join our dynamic team in Johns Creek, GA. As a Flexologist with StretchLab, you will have the opportunity to deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and lead guided group stretching classes, helping clients achieve their flexibility and mobility goals. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a boutique fitness environment, are passionate about stretching, mobility, and flexibility, and have a genuine interest in helping others achieve their wellness objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions tailored to each client's specific needs and goals.
- Lead guided group stretching classes for up to 6 clients, ensuring a safe, supportive, and motivating environment.
- Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, providing feedback and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
- Build and retain a client base through excellent customer service, sales, and outreach efforts, contributing to the growth and success of the studio.
- Manage client care by delivering a best-in-class stretching experience, updating client notes consistently, and booking client's weekly recurring appointments.
- Ensure the safety of clients by enforcing proper stretch techniques and adhering to StretchLab's policies and safety rules.
- Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations to stay updated on the latest techniques and industry developments.
- Handle member concerns and feedback in a professional and courteous manner, contributing to a positive and supportive studio environment.
- Assist Sales Associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed, helping to promote the studio and its services to potential clients.
- Maintain a strong social media presence to promote client membership and retention, as well as to engage with the local community and promote the benefits of assisted stretching.
- Clean and maintain all equipment to ensure it is available for client use at any given time, contributing to a safe, clean, and welcoming studio environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for boutique fitness environments and a love for stretching, mobility, and flexibility.
- Previous experience as a Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Pilates/Yoga Instructor, with a strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
- Fitness certification required, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
- Ability to create a positive and welcoming environment for all clients, with excellent communication skills and empathy.
- A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to our attendance policies, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional client care.
- Availability to complete our comprehensive 3-day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fitness or health environment, with a proven track record of providing hands-on training and support to clients.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, with the ability to promote the studio and its services to potential clients.
- Strong social media skills, with the ability to promote client membership and retention through engaging content and community outreach.
- Experience with customer service software and scheduling systems, with the ability to manage client bookings and communications efficiently.
