Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Front End Pharmacy Technician. As a Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, you will perform order entry tasks, collaborate with other team members in the medication dispensing process, and provide exceptional customer service.
Day in the Life
As a Front End Pharmacy Technician, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including:
- Performing order entry tasks and collaborating with other team members in the medication dispensing process at our closed-door pharmacy
- Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
- Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
- Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's to ensure they are back in a timely manner
- Providing dispensing pharmacist with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
- Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Required Qualifications:
- Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- PTCB National Certification
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $17.00 - $25.15/hr, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits.
