Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist Centralized Services professional to join our team. This is a fully remote role, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere, with the possibility of up to 10% travel for business purposes. As a pharmacist in our centralized services, you will be responsible for the execution of medical care systems and driving patient well-being results. You will execute patient intervention pharmacy programs, ensure consistency of clinical pharmacy services, and drive pharmacy financial performance by implementing pharmacy programs to maximize reimbursements while improving patient health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out direct patient care programs, including but not limited to Medication Therapy Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Programs.
- Drive the execution of multiple strategies and initiatives to ensure business needs are being met.
- Drive consistency and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by analyzing, assessing, and redesigning processes; monitoring and analyzing outcomes; and implementing changes.
- Ensure regional pharmacies comply with regulatory compliance, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines.
- Drive regional pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies to the company's financial objectives.
- Implement and execute patient intervention pharmacy programs to maximize financial performance.
- Support efforts to enhance patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services (e.g., patient consultations, medication management, medication therapy reviews, and retail, clinical, or wellness services, such as vaccinations, disease state management, and Specialty programs).
- Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field initiatives.
- Support staff training experiences and development opportunities.
- Promote collaboration and motivate Pharmacy staff by fostering a shared vision and supporting company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A BS in Pharmacy or PharmD and at least 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
- A current Pharmacist license as granted by the appropriate state licensing authority.
- Experience persuading colleagues to research and resolve issues.
- Experience working with confidential information.
- Ability to work non-standard hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- Experience using time management skills, such as prioritizing/organizing and following details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
- Experience creating ways to achieve goals with minimal supervision, relying on oneself to complete objectives, and knowing when to escalate issues.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Ability to obtain other state pharmacy licenses if necessary.
- Knowledge of insurance plans.
- Knowledge of computer operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus.
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (e.g., opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting borders, selecting page orientation, using spell check, and printing worksheets).
- Basic level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., inserting, editing, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding list level, adding, centering, and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing frame view or running a slide show).
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (e.g., opening a document, cutting, copying, and editing text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and section width, formatting, inserting shots, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fixing, spell check, track changes, review sheet, and print functions).
