Job Summary
This is a part-time position that requires working 18.75 hours per week, from 1 pm to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. As a Customer Service Associate, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, build and retain customer relationships, and partner with other departments to ensure seamless issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve inbound customer requests related to bank products and services
- Provide professional and courteous customer support, ensuring a positive customer experience
- Build and retain customer relationships against competition
- Accept ownership of customer requests and follow them through to resolution
- Identify customer concerns or needs, resolve inquiries, or recommend the best solution
- Expedite corrections or adjustments and follow up to ensure resolution
- Partner with other departments to reach mutually satisfactory resolutions of customer issues
- Identify processes or procedures that can be changed to improve future customer experiences
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of one year of banking or financial services experience in a customer service role preferred
- Previous contact center experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional support
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively express thoughts and ideas
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and be a team player with a positive outlook
