Job Summary
As a Part-Time Customer Service/Sales Lead at blithequark, you'll be responsible for overseeing and stimulating associates to provide exceptional customer service, while setting a positive example and embodying our company philosophy and core values. You'll prioritize friendliness, speedy checkout processes, and outstanding customer service delivery, while interacting proactively with customers to create a pleasant shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by Example: Model blithequark's core values, company philosophy, and back-of-house standards and execution strategies for the rest of the receiving team.
- Drive Customer Satisfaction: Drive improvement of friendliness, speed of checkout, and customer feedback surveys by maintaining a customer-first focus and delivering a consistently great experience to all our customers with a high level of professionalism.
- Maitain a Clean and Orderly Store Environment: Maintain a neat and orderly front-end area, troubleshooting issues with registers and transactions.
- Coordinate Schedules and Breaks: Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
- Collaborate with Management: Work closely with the Assistant Store Manager and Customer Service Supervisor to achieve sales goals, improve customer satisfaction, and develop team members.
- Analyze Sales Data and Customer Feedback: Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and Train Team Members: Develop and train team members to provide exceptional customer service, achieve sales goals, and embody blithequark's core values and company philosophy.
Requirements
To be successful as a Part-Time Customer Service/Sales Lead at blithequark, you'll need:
- Availability for a Flexible Work Schedule: Availability for a flexible work schedule that may entail early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Physical Capability: Physical capability to lift and transport boxes exceeding 40 lbs. and be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, associates, and management.
- Retail Industry Experience: Previous experience in the retail industry, preferably in a customer service or sales leadership role.
- Basic Math Skills and Accuracy: Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash, operating a point-of-sale system, and performing basic math calculations.
