We're seeking an experienced Organized Retail Crime (ORC) Investigator to join our team as a Loss Prevention & Asset Protection Specialist. As an ORC Investigator, you will play a critical role in driving investigations, collaborating with business partners, and leveraging investigative tools to eliminate and reduce company exposure to external theft.

As an ORC Investigator, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's dedicated to protecting our business and our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Case Initiation and Field Tactics (45%): Conduct various field tactics, such as static and mobile surveillance, to determine the scope of an investigation and bring it to resolution. Utilize information from systems reports and databases to identify and communicate criminal activity impacting company assets.
- Case Management and Packaging (35%): Develop detailed investigative plans, update the Case Management System weekly, and provide weekly updates to management and AP Teams on case load and case management efforts. Thoroughly document investigations and ensure proper video is retained for prosecution.
- Networking and Training (20%): Represent Workwarp during conferences and ORC meetings, develop partnerships with SSC Leaders, Directors, RDO's, APM's, and APS' to drive theft and fraud elimination, and maintain positive working relationships with AP Teams, Financial Institutions, Law Enforcement, and peer Industry partners.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience in Loss Prevention or Asset Protection
- The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED
- To be eighteen years of age or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
We're looking for candidates with:
- 5+ years of Loss Prevention / Asset Protection Investigative experience
- 2+ years of Organized Retail Crime Investigative experience
- Competence in the use of retail CCTV systems and case management systems
- Loss Prevention Investigative Interview Training and ORC certifications and/or training class completion
