Key Responsibilities
As an Oracle HCM Cloud Senior Principal Functional Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Designing solutions and documenting requirements and design specifications to meet client needs
- Building application processes and communicating proactively and independently with clients, providing documentation to guide discussions
- Assisting in the management of a portfolio of clients, reporting to Senior Managers and above, and contributing to the development of your own and team's business acumen
- Developing strategies to solve complex business challenges and assisting in the management and delivery of large projects
- Training, coaching, and supervising staff, as well as preparing and delivering status reports and updating project plans with completed tasks
- Contributing to business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
- Configuring application components, developing reports, and supporting the project manager through effective communication of tasks and issues
- Interfacing with clients to clarify requirements, provide training and support, and representing CHRO Solutions with confidence and poise
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
- 16+ years of professional work experience
- 5+ years of experience implementing Oracle HCM Cloud products
- 5+ years of experience with HCM processes such as Hiring, benefits, payroll, time & labor, performance management, recruiting, and compensation planning
- Experience with Core HR and Compensation modules
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Demonstrable experience learning more than one technology
- Ability to articulate HCM concepts and engage clients in thoughtful dialog to elicit requirements
- Ability to break down abstract concepts into components and creatively and resourcefully problem-solve both independently and with a team
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience managing a team through at least two full-cycle implementation engagements
- Ability to lead the work of others, with a strong sense of accountability and personal drive
- Excellent written skills and the ability to understand contracts and adhere to statements of work
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and mentor and motivate others
- Ability to describe complex processes to audiences with varying skill levels and work effectively in a telecommuting environment
