About Hennepin County Library and the Role

Hennepin County Library is a dynamic and inclusive organization that strives to nourish minds, transform lives, and build community together. Our afterschool tutoring programs, Homework Help and Let's Read, are designed to provide students with one-on-one and small group support in understanding and completing their learning tasks. As a Lead Tutor, you will be responsible for directing the daily operation of these programs, establishing program routines, and providing orientation, coaching, and training to volunteer tutors.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly rate for this role is $23.00, with a salary range of $21-$26.77 per hour. As a Hennepin County employee, you will be eligible for a range of benefits, including paid time off, health insurance, and retirement savings. Current Hennepin County employees who refer a candidate hired into an open competitive position may be eligible for a $500 referral bonus.
