Our mission is to cultivate strong disability rights and disability justice frameworks that center the needs and daily experiences of disabled individuals. We achieve this by organizing communities around critical issues, tracking legislation and policy affecting disabled people, advancing legislative priorities, leading research, and changing media and social narratives about disability.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Field Organizer to join our team in Alabama, working remotely with travel across the South. As a Field Organizer, you will be on the ground, talking to and organizing with disabled voters, building community power through public education, coalition work, voter protection advocacy, and creative organizing strategies. You are passionate about health justice, worker's rights, community organizing, voting rights, and disability justice. You have experience incorporating a variety of organizing techniques into your work and are always looking to learn new strategies and information.
